Odoo costs per scenario

Three worked examples: from €3,000 to €10,000

Odoo consists of separate apps. You pay per app we configure for you, so you simply work out your own price: number of apps × €1,000. Below are the three scenarios we see most often in practice.

All amounts are one-off and exclude the Odoo licence, which you pay separately and directly to Odoo.

What's included and what isn't?

Most of the unpredictability in an ERP project is not in the price but in what has not been agreed. That's why we set it out side by side here. Want to see how this lands in a full project? Read our approach to Odoo implementations.

What's included

  • Process design — for each app we record how you work before anything is configured.
  • Configuration — settings, journals, price lists, locations, roles and permissions.
  • Automated tests — included as standard, not as an extra. Even at upgrade time you know straight away what works.
  • Documentation — work instructions in Dutch, written for your team.
  • Training — per role, on your own data, with a guided go-live.

What's not included

  • The Odoo licence — you pay this separately and directly to Odoo, depending on users and apps.
  • Data migration — transferring and cleaning up historical data is quoted separately.
  • Integrations with external systems — webshop, WMS or EDI fall under the integration project.
  • Hardware — scanners, receipt printers, tills and label printers you buy yourself.

Glossary

What is an app, exactly?

Odoo is not one big block of software but a collection of separate apps that share the same database. You switch on what you need and leave the rest off. That's why we can price per app — and why you never pay for functionality you don't use.

Sales — €1,000

Quotations, order confirmations, price lists, discount rules and invoicing. Your sales team works in one screen and the order flows straight through to inventory and accounting.

Inventory — €1,000

Every subsequent app works the same way: one fixed amount, the same content, the same promise. You decide the order and the pace. Examples of what other companies chose can be found in our use cases.

Fixed quote

We put the number of apps on paper. Number × €1,000. One amount, no tiers.

Configure and test

Process design, configuration, automated tests and documentation per app.

Live per app

Training, go-live and aftercare. Only then the next app, at your pace.

Why this adds up

A fixed price is only possible when the work is predictable

Traditional Odoo implementations are expensive because they are manual work and you pay by the hour. We have automated the repetitive part: configuring, testing and documenting. What remains is the work that needs people — understanding your process and making the right choices. That's why we dare to promise €1,000 per app, and deliver on it.

The amount on the quote is the amount on the final invoice.

Frequently asked questions

Odoo pricing and costs — short and concrete

At DAADit an Odoo implementation costs €1,000 per app. Three apps cost €3,000, six apps €6,000 and ten apps €10,000. That amount includes process design, configuration, automated tests, documentation and training. You pay the Odoo licence separately and directly to Odoo.

That is set by Odoo, not by us. You pay the licence directly to Odoo and the amount depends on the number of users and the number of apps you switch on. We add no mark-up to licences; you'll find the current rates on odoo.com.

No. You can start with one app and then pay €1,000. Most companies start with three apps, because sales, inventory and accounting reinforce each other straight away.

Then you pay €1,000 for that app, at the same rate as at the start. There is no surcharge for expanding later, and we don't reconfigure what is already running.

No. The price we quote is the price you pay. Outside the €1,000 per app, the only items are the Odoo licence, data migration, integrations with external systems and hardware — and we name those items in the quote up front.

Exact and AFAS work with a subscription per user or per module, with the implementation usually billed by the hour. With us the implementation part is a fixed amount per app, so you know the total in advance. In both cases the licence remains a separate, ongoing cost.
